Unterschied "Sequantial Pull"und "Fifo Sequantial Flow"

  • `Hallo,

    Vielen Dank!

    - What is the different between a Sequential pull and FIFO sequential flow?
It looks physically the same but the logic is different.
FIFO flow is a buffer between to stations that have different cycle or change over times. The
pacemaker is before the FiFo line. With a stable demand the capacity of the FIFO line can be
    defined.
In a sequential pull the pacemaker is after the FIFO line. It is necessary when there are e.g.
customer specific parts in the assembly – e.g. modern automobile production. The takt and
order start is still at the assembly, but the exact variant which is build next depends on the
next part in the Sequence. The sequential pull prevent upstream processes from
    overproduction.
