I did not attend much lectures and plan to give the exam this semester (which is written). I am having a hard time understanding the notes/exercises uploaded (most of them are hand written). Should I study the script instead? Any tips would be appreciated!
P.S. - Anyone else who is giving the exam, please share your approach!!

Hello. From my own experience,
For the theory part: Understanding the topics covered in the lecture is most important. Also focus on diagrams, plot, sketches. Know why a scenario occurs, e.g. in transonic flow past an airfoil, why does a local shockwave occur and how can the formation of this be delayed? (supercritical airfoil) You get the idea.
For the numerical/calculation part: Be well versed with the exercise sheets. The questions will not be too complicated, rather it is a race against time.
Wishing you all the best. Thanks for the message. I had 1 question, do you remember if the exam consisted more of theoretical questions from lectures/ numerical questions from the exercises?
