Within the project DaCCCar (Darmstadt Circular Changeable Car) we focus on car concepts for longevity. Repairability is one key parameter for the concepts.
Task description
▪ Quantify the effort for repair and exchange of relevant components in passenger cars
Task Details
▪ Research literature on assessment methods for repairability in different contexts
▪ Comparison of influencing variables, calculation methods and forms of presentation of assessment methods
▪ Deriving requirements for a repair index in the automotive sector
▪ Development and exemplary application of the repair index for a selected component
▪ Discussion of advantages and disadvantages of the chosen approach
