Direct Track - Directly from Bachelor to PhD
Are you on track to an exceptional bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural or social sciences? Then we would like to pique your interest in a doctorate!
During your two-year studies towards your master's degree, you will be supported by mentors in different ways, from choosing subjects to sharpening your scientific tools. In this way we will prepare you to work with us in the Clean Circles research project and provide you with a broad range of specialist knowledge. You will also receive a monthly book-grant of €150.
In the subsequent doctoral phase, we guarantee you a position as a research assistent in the Clean Circles project, if you decide to pursue a PhD. Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will conduct research on a central question of the energy transformation: How can we use iron as a carbon-free energy carrier to store electricity? Via the Graduate School Energy and Science Engineering (ESE), to which you will be introduced through your participation in the research project, you will have access to another energy research network at TU Darmstadt besides Clean Circles.
Prerequisites
This call is specifically aimed at female students in engineering, natural or social sciences anticipating a very good bachelor’s degree, who will be starting their master’s studies at TU Darmstadt in the winter semester 2023/2024.
