I’m Adeel, a Master’s student in Aerospace Engineering at TU Darmstadt. I saw your post for the ADP at PTW regarding surface quality in the PBF-LB process chain and am very interested in joining your group.

The focus on developing a data-based model fits my background perfectly:

• Previous ADP Experience: I’ve already completed an ADP at IMS using MATLAB and fuzzy logic for signal analysis.
• Data Analytics: I am highly comfortable with Python and have previously built ML models with over 90% accuracy.
• Optimization: As a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, I am trained in the systematic optimization of process parameters.

Since I am in the Aerospace program, I would also be looking to count this toward my degree credits. I’d love to chat more about the task and how I can contribute to the team.

Here is more info about the project ;

- target audience: blind passengers who use their cell phones for orientation and wayfinding
- goal: build a system that can determine the position of any cellphone in any aircraft cabin with a resolution of 10cm

The main challenges in my opinion are:
- there is a lot of signal noise in cabins, you will have to get very creative to make it robust
- how to describe x,y,z coordinates in airplanes in a consistent way across different models
- compliance with regulations
