Oral exam on 05.05

  • Hi, I just finished the oral exam today. There are not so many oral protocols in Forum, so I hope my experience can help you.

The atmosphere was very good, I really prepared for it so well (Only as I see:S), but it's not like what we will do in a written exam, it really needs your understanding of this lecture.

Firstly, Professor Beidl is very nice and friendly, he will explain the question if I don't fully understand it.

How do you think about the whole trend of the combustion engine and what kind of modification and development we can do? -> I said lots of things, just an overview. like hybrid functions, BEV, some modifications of gasoline and diesel engine, such as multi injection...

In which area can BEV contribute to our world? -> air quality, global warming.

And how exactly can BEV make a contribution to them? CO2 neutrality...

What components does a vehicle with a fuel cell have? -> I missed one?(, I only said differential, battery, transmission...

Then Professor Beidl just explained which component I missed.

If we drive a car for 50km, will the diesel engine vehicle produce more CO2 or a BEV(Whole efficiency)? I said BEV, because during the production of battery it will also produce CO2, so the whole efficiency of BEV may be higher than a diesel engine vehicle.

What's the efficiency performance of a fuel cell with a high load compared to diesel? The answer is similar, there is a figure you can find in the FragenKatalog.

I can only remember these, I hope it can give you some hints. I suppose it's really good to have this oral exam, even though I reviewed so many things in the Fragenkatalog, like the figures, which may be only useful for a written exam.

Wich you successful in your future exam:thumbup:
